intandem
has evolved as a natural progression from working together at
the Wolfson Neurorehabilitation Centre (WNRC), a regional rehabilitation
service over a period of 8 years.
At the WNRC Cathy and Sam worked
very closely together:
•
providing therapy and counselling support to clients and their
families
• with the SLT team
• with multidisciplinary teams
• with outside professionals in both formal and informal
ways
• running training courses both within and outside their
place of work
intandem benefits from the fact
that Cathy and Sam:
•
have shared and complementary areas of specialist knowledge
•
enjoy working together and challenging each other in their working
styles and practices. Each is keen to help the other develop
both professionally and personally and inspire each other in
their own journeys, giving support as and when needed
•
now have the scope and opportunity to extend their knowledge
and skills, translating a vision of work within the NHS into
independent practice. Their flexibility of practice (learnt
and embraced within their NHS experiences) allows flexible services
for others and a commitment to high standards/best practice
