Description of supervision approach:
My philosophy and approach is based on the experiences I have gained in my roles as SLT, counsellor, supervisor, manager, coach, tutor and trainer. Personal Construct Psychology (PCP) is core to my supervision style and approach and informs my role as supervisor and supervisee. In my supervision practice, I strive to: be flexible, responsive, open, authentic, congruent, reflective and reflexive, open out possibilities and alternatives, focus on the supervisee’s agenda, pay attention to process, create a safe space and time for each individual, act as a navigator, creating opportunities for career &/or change development discussion.
