Description of supervision approach:
Having worked as a supervisor in a range of contexts, I have come to understand the importance of making time for supervision and how difficult this can feel when you are pressurised at work. I see supervision as an important time that provides an open and confidential space to examine therapeutic and working relationships. I regard the quality of the supervisor/supervisee relationship as critical to you feeling safe to lead the agenda and enabled to explore ideas, issues and dilemmas, leading to a deeper understanding that supports you in moving forward.
