Description of supervision approach:

I provide a safe and confidential space for you to reflect on your practice. Whatever the issues are that you bring to supervision, I will always listen with curiosity and compassion. My skills as a supervisor do not lie in providing the answers but in asking the questions that facilitate your own problem solving. My approach is warm, non-judgemental, and thoughtful. I am happy to share my own clinical experience, however my first approach is always to support you to tap into your own wisdom and skills. I am passionate about the value of supervision both in terms of developing the quality of our clinical practice but also improving the quality of our own lives.

Whilst my clinical background is in speech and language therapy, I draw on a much wider skill set in my role as a supervisor. My training in Transactional Analysis, Mindfulness and Solution Focused techniques enables me to take a wider perspective and draw on theories and frameworks applicable to any context. I am therefore able to provide supervision to those working in other professions.

I believe that it is essential to find a supervisor who is a good fit for you, and therefore very happy to arrange an initial telephone or video call to explore whether we could work together.
